Now I have a love-hate relationship with cows. Quiet. Edible. Almost serene, you might think. This however is the scene that greeted me soon after my move to out here. As if living on a boat and commuting 45 minutes along a tow path to work isn't a complex enough situation to confuse an urban landlubber like me, throw a herd of menacing cows in to the mix and you have a problem. But I can honestly say I've never found a more effective, surreal reason for being late to work than "hi I'm going to be a little late this morning - the cows won't let me pass".
Now for some love. It's pretty rare these days to attend any event where planners are present and arrive home with anything less that twenty Moo cards spilling out of your back pocket. So as they say, if you can't beat em - join em. Moo-cards are holding their annual Summer Street Party tomorrow afternoon at Vibe Bar, Brick lane and it promises to be a good old bash if last year's anything to go by. Oh yeah, and there's free alcohol. See you there.
