Down by the river

Like any true muso I'm a fan of Neil Young. Down by the River was written in the wonderful year of 1967 - the same year Holmes&Marchant came to be. One of my favourite things about living out here is that you get to watch the river change with the seasons - calmly sitting in summery pub garden or bursting its banks and stirring up the wildlife in the winter. For us it's an important part of daily life and genuinely inspires our work. Which is why we're getting our lovely old rowing boats fixed-up for summer, so we can row our clients about and get their suits wet.
